WHY BOYS HATE TWILIGHT AND GIRLS LOVE IT..

Well..frankly speaking i wasn't much into twilight till two years back when my best friend introduced me too it and i started reading it out of curiosity.being a romantic at heart i started being submerged completely in the fairy tale romance.Edward was the perfect man[though his a vampire and not a man] and Bella the idealized teen and Jacob the perfect teen with his sculpted body…the story had such a perfect description of ROMANCE,LOVE,DRAMA…

Common yaar..as a girl who wouldn't want a romantic,faithful and dependable boyfriend as Edward.he started emerging as the idealized boyfriend material all over the world that any girl would want.and on other side there was Jacob the masculine sexual god figure.smart,sexy and tough on outside and tender and lovable inside.a person like him can make any hard girl drool to have him and want him.twilight opened up a whole world of imagination for girls like me.till now girls used to dream of prince charming on a white horse,while twilight made girls to dream of vampires and werewolves.its sheer magic of creativity that made the most dreadful creatures from centuries appear so lovable and romanticized.

It also created groupism among Edward and Jacob lovers as to who should get Bella.as both of them are perfect on their own grounds they share a uniqueness beyond comparison.personally i stand for Jacob and his bare body!but girls do love a little feminine men who can take care of them more.Stephanie Meyer has taken every fantasy of a girl in mind in creating those characters.

While on other side there's this complete group of men who hate the whole concept of twilight.they consider it irrational,nasty and fake.well this diversified ideologies of people on the same thing triggered me too do a little research as to why guys actually hate it.some reasons seemed rational enough but some were totally out of blue.

The main problem guys had about twilight that came to light was that it provided a paradigm for girls.a idealized image of a guy that definitely no men in this world could fulfill.romance for guys has always been icky.a guy could never be so much into a girl to forget his family and friends and be with a girl day in and day out and just watch her sleep.no guy would have that self control!!

The second problem men found was the over the top romance sequences and the soft hearted vampires and werewolves.every guy has grown up with a idea of a blood sucking vampire that seduces women just to suck their blood and dreads nothing but holy crosses and burnt themselves in sunlight.while twilight had pale looking ,almost gay personality type vampires that were completely normal and went school and attended blood tests in biology classes and above all sparkling diamond like in sunshine.it shattered the guys imagination and made them laugh about the lovable vampires.after all no one wants to love a vampire,he has to be hated.

Well though the above two reasons are completely justifiable there came some highly disgraceful and rubbish ideas too ,which i will throw light on.Guys rubbished twilight saying that it supported homosexuality and that Edwards projected as a creepy,manipulative overprotective stalker.common guys how low is that.i also read it somewhere that Bella is a “doormat”material and seems juggling stupidly between the two guys.well every teenage girl goes through that phase of confusion about emotions.then why to make a great fuss about it.

The controversy seems never ending and nor will this fight end.but yes it has magnified the Bella Edward effect all over the world and made it one of the most talked about thing.what else would the writer want…hats off to you Stephanie Meyers..
